Alpine Skier Dual Layer by Humdinger Designs.
We cut the skier from cold rolled steel sheet which is then polished by hand. The details are hand ground into the freshly polished steel and heat is applied to add color. Finally we apply several coats of premium clear sealer to ensure long lasting beauty.
The snowflake is cut from 5052 aluminum sheet and hand polished prior to applying several coats of sealer.
The skier is elevated from the snowflake by about 1.25" which provides an awesome shadow effect and 3D appearance.
This piece is shipped ready to install with built-in mounting bracket and stand-offs which space it away from the wall approximately 1".
